# About Button

Button is building Bitcoin's prime brokerage, bringing credit, yield and trading infrastructure powered by Hyperliquid. The protocol transforms Bitcoin into productive capital by vertically integrating overcollateralized lending with transparent, onchain strategy execution.

Bitcoin deposits on Button are used as margin for fully collateralized delta neutral strategies on Hyperliquid, executed within the bounds of transparent smart contracts. Stablecoin lenders provide the capital that powers these strategies, earning predictable returns backed by BTC collateral and verifiable onchain positions.

This is made possible by Hyperliquid's [HyperEVM](https://hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs/hyperevm), which combines smart contract composability with a high performance CLOB, allowing for sophisticated strategies and execution that can be run entirely onchain.
